  2. I noticed it and have replaced the illigal characters with the right XHTML character entities.

  3. Two down, one to go: there's a smart-apostrophe in "couldn't", too. I wish someone would figure out a way to intercept posts between the posting textarea and MT actually building the page - it would be handy to be able to check your HTML and XML before the page is built, rather than after.

  4. That is why I am implementing the SmartyPants plugin. That way I type just common ASCII characters which will be replaced at build with the right curly XHTML character entities
